If you use online banking, you can easily pay your annual Inverhuron District Ratepayer’s Association (IDRA) membership using an Interac e-Transfer. Follow these steps:
1. Log in to your Online Banking Account
- Access your bank’s website or mobile app.
2. Navigate to the E-Transfer Section
- Go to the Payments & Transfers menu.
- Select Interac E-Transfer.
3. Add Inverhuron District Ratepayer’s Association as a Recipient
- Look for the Add a Recipient or Send to a New Recipient option.
- Enter the following recipient details:
- Recipient Name: Inverhuron District Ratepayer’s Association
- Recipient Email Address: idramembership@inverhuronrate.com
- Preferred Language: English
4. Enter Payment Details
- Amount: $20.00
- Account to Debit: Select the bank account you want to use.
- Message: Include the following in the message box:
- “2025 Membership Dues for [Your Name and Cottage Address]”
- Add any updates to your contact information, such as a new address or phone number, if applicable.
5. Set Up Security Information
- Security Question: What is the money for?
- Security Answer: membership (enter this exactly as written).
6. Complete and Verify the Transfer
- Click Verify or Submit to confirm the e-Transfer.
7. Confirmation
- Once the transfer is complete, your bank will provide a transaction ID as proof of payment.
- You will also receive an email confirmation when the funds are deposited by the Inverhuron District Ratepayer’s Association. This email will be sent to the address you used in the “Sending From” field.
